Hey, it’s time for a pulse check! Are you thriving or surviving? I know, it’s time to be honest with yourself. So answer the question.

How can you tell?

Well, if you are thriving…

You are feeling and seeing a constant trend of growth in your life. You’re accomplishing things and you’re completing tasks. You’re mostly happy and optimistic about the future. You’re seeing returns on your investments of your time and resources, and the people around you are doing well too. Simply put, you are on FIRE!

When you are in survival mode…

You feel like you have to take things day by day. Things get done, but eventually and sometimes late. You dread the next day because you know that just adds more things to your plate. You are crawling into the weekend. Sometimes you feel super overwhelmed. Quite frankly, sometimes you just want to pick up your ball and go home.

Guess what? That was me last week. I was literally just trying to make it to Sunday. I was emotionally drained, I was running from here to there. I just had a lot of things to do.

But here’s the thing – it’s okay to have days like that, where you’re just surviving. But when days turn into seasons and seasons turn into longer periods of time, that’s when you get into a survival mindset. You feel like you are always trying to catch up, you start to feel pessimistic, you’re constantly overwhelmed.

It’s not a good place to be.

Do you want to get out of the rut you’re in?
